About us

The Ashmore Foundation was established in January 2008 using funds from Ashmore employees.

The Ashmore Foundation was established in January 2008 using funds from Ashmore employees. It continues to be funded solely by Ashmore and its employees globally, with support from employees extending beyond financial aid through active engagement in fundraising and a network of support, which includes mentoring and helping NGOs expand their network of contacts.

Trustees and Directors

The Ashmore Foundation is an independent registered charity and limited company, and the philanthropic arm of the Ashmore Group. It is governed by twelve trustees, ten of whom are Ashmore employees, one of whom is an Ashmore Group plc Non-executive Director and one of whom is independent. Day-to-day management is provided by a dedicated Director.
