The Ashmore Foundation

Our grants and partners

The Ashmore Foundation seeks to work with organisations that meet a clearly defined social need for disadvantaged and low-income groups and show success in implementing interventions that make a positive change.

Despite economic growth in the Emerging Markets, social and economic inequalities continue to increase and communities lack the skills and resources needed to participate fully in economic development. The Ashmore Foundation believes that with the right support the most marginalised and disadvantaged communities can grow and prosper.

The Ashmore Foundation seeks to work with organisations that meet a clearly defined social need for disadvantaged and low-income groups and show success in implementing interventions that make a positive change. Organisations should be able to demonstrate clarity of purpose, grassroots engagement and empowerment of communities, tangible positive outcomes, cost-effectiveness, accountability and a sustainable approach to the social and economic development of communities.
